Ahhh…the internets! Where did it come from? Turns out It wasn’t all Al Gore’s idea, but a series of communication milestones beginning as early as 1957.
Here is an animated short doc that explains it (with a charming British voice-over, of course):
We have been working with the fabulous Mark Blankenship on The Critical Condition. The site offers a solid platform for his criticism about movies, music, tv and even advertisements. The site is in full swing with videos and guest bloggers.
It’s finally here. The 2008 Art Meets Commerce Holiday Video.
After months of planning (I’m serious. Our first meeting about it was literally in July), weeks of shooting and editing, and gallons upon gallons of Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Frappuccinos, we are proud to present the aptly named “Happy Holidays From Art Meets Commerce.” (The official title has an exclamation point at the end of it, but I’ used up my yearly quota. Which isn’t to say that the video isn’t totally exciting. Because it is. Trust me.)
Check out the YouTube version below, and please do click over to the site and rate it. Share it with all your friends and loved ones, and most of all, have a happy, healthy holiday season.
